Today the Moon Tomorrow the Sun Sessions

Seriously, until last Saturday, I hadn’t been to Lenny’s for months.  Maybe I wasn’t looking hard enough, but I couldn’t find a single show on their calendar that ranked higher than “I’ll do this if all my favorite venues, bars, and strip clubs all catch fire on the same night.”

But Bean’s got a great show booked for this Saturday:  Today the Moon Tomorrow the Sun, The Interiors, and A Fight to the Death.

(coincidentally, all of those bands have played/will play sessions with Have You Heard.)

The Interiors - A Crooked Line

So, I’m in the middle of writing this long post about The Interiors, a band I’ve been following since seeing them in Chicago last summer.  I was writing about “A Crooked Line” specifically, this great “biking to work on a Friday morning”-type song that almost sounds like a much more laid back Vampire Weekend*.

And I’m writing the post up, adding links n’ pictures n’ stuff, when I glance at The Interiors’ calendar and see that they’ve added a date since I last checked their site a few days ago.  The date is a second Atlanta show - a studio session with Adam and Bradley over at Big Ralph Studios, where we record for Have You Heard.

Those bastards scooped me!

Anyway, The Interiors will be playing at Lenny’s in Atlanta October 4th along with HYH favorites A Fight To The Death.  They’re playing Farm 255 in Athens the next day, and they’ve got a few more shows lined up along the East coast before then.

* except, y’know, not lame.
