Local Atlanta Band Make the Fur Fly Robbed

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

I had the pleasure of catching “Make The Fur Fly” at 97 Estoria last night. The newish Atlanta band sounded confident even out of the lousy PA speakers that the reluctant club offered. They thanked us for featuring them on a recent show and we began discussing having them in for a live session but unfortunately they ran into some bad luck

Josh’s 2001 Ford Explorer Sportrac was broken into and stolen this morning. The truck was filled with a lot of goodies.

Contents:
Boss BRB-60 Pedal Board
inside:
(2) Boss DD-6 Digital Delays
Boss RV-5 Digital Reverb
Boss CE-2 Chorus (Vintage)
Boss BD-2 Blues Driver
Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner
Boss CS-3 Compressor/Sustainer
Digitech Whammy 4
1980 Fender Pro Reverb
(2) ART DI Boxes
$200 Instrument Cables
Shure Beta 57 A Microphone
Atlas Sound Microphone Boom Stand
Avertek Laptop
30 gig IPOD Video
$45 in cash
cell phone chargers
floor tom
cymbal stands
sony cybershot digital camera

These contents have an estimated value of $15,000 (including the truck housing said contents)
Unfortunately we have to cancel most of our shows if we don’t figure something out.
Wish us luck and hope to rock your face soon.

This week Adam and Bradley review “Swimming” from New York indie staples The French Kicks, have a great live session / interview right here at Big Ralph Studios with Denmark’s own Slaraffenland, then finish with a review of “How We Lost” by Austin’s vanguard Windsor For The Derby. Of course we have our top 8 favorite music news stories which we give some kudos to Death Cab For Cutie and finish out the show with a track from “Make The Fur Fly”.
