Howlies
Tuesday, February 5th, 2008Ok so this isn’t a joke, fabrication, embellishment or altered falsehood. I went out to have a couple drinks with my good friend last night and we sit down with a couple guys I didn’t know. I introduced myself and they told me that they were in a band called Howlies. I listened to the explanation of their sound explained in turn the blog and podcast here, we exchanged information. No Biggie.
Then I wake up this morning and see that they’ve already e-mailed me and invited me out to a show. Understand that just last night I had to defend my critic status to Adam who thought that I may be becoming too rooted in unique music to recognize good music. So I click on the link and start listening and I just can’t stop. I can’t believe that I didn’t hear this before! I can’t believe that EVERYONE isn’t talking about this! I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT THESE DUDES ARE MY FRIENDS OMGHSGLHUALUBGALUHLAGLUH4LHALCUH4LTHLHSL4UH4LCSH49AH93PATAHBGK.
