Corndogorama: Morning State

The band starts, and at first I think that the lead singer’s vocal mic isn’t turned up loud enough.  I look closer.  Their twin guitar assault is incredibly melodic, even when no one is singing.  The shaded tambourine player is in the shadow of the speaker the whole time but certainly should not be underestimated.

The funny thing about corndogorama is that when the band’s material is strong everyone comes right down next to the stage.  This festival is full of people who like music and they are the perfect litmus test for smaller bands.  Verdict on Morning State?  I wish I was this collected and focused in my “morning state.”
