The Sid Vicious Experience

When you see a band called The Sid Vicious Experience, that experience should not seem stale and uninspired. The reason The Sex Pistols were so popular in the first place was their inventiveness in the face of their own lack of traditional talent. The Sid Vicious Experience which has neither inventiveness nor traditional talent makes me wonder if I should go back out to the corndog stand for another round of fried meat.

Fruit Machine

Punk is a language of the oppressed, and who feels more oppressed than teenage girls? Fruit Machine is a troupe of four such girls. Their innocent appearances hide an onslaught of energy that only Poly Styrine knows. With little equipment the band managed to capture the attention of everyone at the festival through seizure like convulsing and monstrous cleavage set in retro-fifties dresses.
