Y’all coming with me to Lenny’s May 3rd? Man Man + Yeasayer?????
Seriously, though, I had a lot of respect for them when I heard their older records, but if people approach their music like I did, the weirdness can be off-putting at first. I liked it, recognized how “good” it was, but didn’t necessarily enjoy it all that much. Then I saw them live. At which point my eyes got big and I quickly declared them the best. live. act. ever. I don’t think the human brain can deal with the sonic input Man Man throws at you through audio alone. Seeing their show visually makes you understand what it is you’re hearing. And what you’re hearing is phenomenal.
If I may, the track “Harpoon Fever (Queequeg’s Playhouse)” is, in my opinion, the best track from Rabbit Habbits. Recommended listening!

The episodes really do keep getting better and better guys. And I have to admit: this is the first show on which I have actually heard a band that I liked and listened to the entire song… Man Man is fucking awesome. I don’t know who Julia is, but I will see you at Lenny’s for this show on May 3rd!
